Mind Body and Soul 12-18-2009 - Mark Anthony has varied job opportunities. On his visit to “Mind, Body and Soul Show,” he shared his two professions. In this lifetime he has learned how to be a lawyer, and he follows his family legacy. Mark is a psychic and medium as well. During his visit he shared holiday information, talked about what happens to us after we die and described how psychic-mediums work.

Mark said that the holly wreaths we use as a symbol of Christmas are a reminder of the crown of thorns that Jesus wore during his crucifixion thus serving to remind Christians that the celebration of the birth of Christ, which is the reason for the season, should also be cause to remember his death. Also, the idea of the eternal circle of the wreath symbolizes eternity and the unending love of God and his son, Jesus. Holly berries and scarlet ribbons were also incorporated into the wreath which might represent the blood of Christ, or his death on earth and salvation.

This relates to something else Mark shared. He said that when our physical bodies expire on this earth, that we are still, “very much alive and well as a spirit on the other side.” He said we have the same likes and dislikes and because of our love we are still the same as we were on the earth, with one exception. We are able to leave our fear and negativity behind.

Even though our relationships change with our loved ones who have passed, we can still communicate with them and feel their presence. He said the relationship evolves into a spiritual one in stead of a physical one. “You will see your loved ones again, but not before your designated time to go.” He added that suicide is the one thing that interferes with communication. People should not interrupt the designated flow of life and take their lives before it’s their time to go.

Many people worry about communications with the other side thinking that evil spirits might come through. But Mark says that is not something that anyone needs to fear. He said that he puts protection in place so that his mediumship readings focus on white light and provide only service for the highest purpose, healing, reconciliation and resolution.

Regarding his ability to connect with the other side, Mark said that every medium is a psychic, but not every psychic is a medium. A psychic picks up random vibrational energies and provides that information. A medium picks up the energy of a third party -- the spirits on the other side. The difference between the two is as simple as tuning into different frequencies.
