Lose Weight

The Skinny on Fat 11-06-2009 - For the last 9 years I’ve been working hard to lose weight, yo-yoing to the extreme, to the point that I’ve lost hope. I would say there is no one on this planet who wants to reclaim her life more, nor has anyone ever made more effort. It’s not about how I look, but about being able to walk. It’s about my steady decline regardless of what I do as I keep eating.
Beyond cabbage soup diets, healthy eating plans, life coaches, fat acceptance and everything else comes Dr. Denise Lamothe to the “The Skinny on Fat” radio show. She coached me on air because I’ve been able to get started on a plan again. I want to prevent what has happened in the past. I go along great for a while and then, BAM! I’ve gained it all back and wake up with my head in the fridge.
She walked me through some great plans to stay on track and she shared some of the experiences from her soon-to-be-published book. One story she told described how she came to terms with aging. It sparked something in me. Many times I’d heard how we eat to cover our feelings, and I agree, manyof us do that. But the sneaky ways we sabotage ourselves keeps us in the loop. I had known it, but my dots were out-of-whack. I just couldn’t see how I was doing it. Now, I can and I’m touching hope again. Hope is a huge relief. Dr. Denise is experienced helping people on the edge in regard to food and eating issues.
I just began my journey anew. Join with me. Anyone who is looking to get more healthy and let go of some harmful habits and behavior, contact me. We’ll do this together. We can support one another. We can work out our questions and then discover answers because we are of a single mind.
I have more than 300 pounds to lose. Do you think I can? But Will I? Should I finish that sentence with… But will I be able? Is it within my realm of possibility? Honestly, that remains to be seen. I think I can. No, I know it. Do you think it’s possible? Do you think I can? Wow! That’s a big question. But I want it more than anything else because if I don’t get it, there won’t be anything else. Email me. Please. I need support. Maybe you do too. One thing I can say without hesitation, you probably won’t find anyone more determined (or cheaper…hee, hee).
Also, Dr. Denise Lamothe can be reached from her website -- http://deniselamothe.com. She has great blogs and so much information for us. She is involved in many aspects of food and eating issues from having anorexia and bulimia in her younger years to eating until she fell on her bed and then had to deal with obesity, and she did lose weight to get healthy. She has a clinic in Exeter, NH to help people like me, as well as a full-time coaching practice. Her accolades are lengthy. Go to her site. Then give her a jingle. She’s amazing.
