Follow along and discover new health information when it comes to what you eat. I’ve completed my 28 day Fast Track plan under the direction of my health coach, Nancy Jerominski. It wasn’t a breeze, but I made it all the way through. What happened when I was turned lose with a new plan that added more carbohydrates, the very substance that my past binges hinged?
The Skinny on Fat 12-04-2009 - Giving up junk food for an addict is a very difficult process. It doesn’t happen easily. My health coach, Nancy Jerominski, said, “Your binge foods are not foods and are not healthy in the slightest, other than to pacify the whining little addict in you.” That pretty much sums it up. So, why is it so difficult to let go? Why must there be a process? Why can’t I just say no and go?
Take a look for yourself and follow Sheri, the radio host with a lot to lose, and watch her shrink. Her coach Nancy Jerominski joins her every Friday at 1:30 Eastern Standard Time. Sheri and Nancy do an on-air coaching session to help discover and heal the issues that effect people as they journey to health through weight loss. Each week new issues are discussed and new discoveries are made. Each week there is a new food journal with everything that Sheri ate and comments from both Sheri and Nancy. Also, Sheri reveals the weekly number of pounds lost in her journal.
The Skinny on Fat 11-20-2009 - My weight-loss coach, Nancy Jerominski, and I discussed my healthy eating program on “The Skinny on Fat.” We will be working together so that I can truly begin living without the struggle of obesity.
Don’t turn your nightmare before Christmas into your nightmare after Christmas. Do you struggle with food choices through the holidays resulting in a weight-gain? Do you ever lose those extra pounds ? Or, as the years go by do you just keep gaining? What about yo-yoing? Do you do that? Put a check in front of each one for me -- in the past. But not any longer. I’ve finally gotten to the edge. I’m going for the gold. You can do it, too. Join me Fridays on my radio show, “The Skinny on Fat,” right here at Real Coaching Radio Network.
The Skinny on Fat 11-13-2009 - Coach Nancy Jerominski, my trip advisor, joined my internet radio show, “The Skinny on Fat” to provide balanced health information to teach us how to create our own optimum health. The show began as Nancy started coaching me on my long “trip” to safe and permanent weight loss. She is going to continue coaching me along the way. Although the sessions will end, my journey will not because when I get to the weight that feels healthy and comfortable for me, I will have to maintain.
The Skinny on Fat 11-06-2009 - For the last 9 years I’ve been working hard to lose weight, yo-yoing to the extreme, to the point that I’ve lost hope. I would say there is no one on this planet who wants to reclaim her life more, nor has anyone ever made more effort. It’s not about how I look, but about being able to walk. It’s about my steady decline regardless of what I do as I keep eating.

Lose Weight
10-07-09 -- Golda Poretsky, founder http://bodylovewellness.com, will return to “The Skinny on Fat,” Friday at 1:30 PM Eastern to continue our discussion. Last week Golda and I talked about diets and how they can actually interfere with weight loss. What do you do in an effort to lose weight?
This week Golda and I plan to open the controversy regarding “fat discrimination,” as discussed in the news recently regarding the NJ gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie. Come share what you think. We’d love to hear from you.
The Skinny on Fat 10/02/2009 - A perfect body is your body, just the way it is, according to Golda Poretsky, Coach and Health advisor. First you must accept and love yourself the way you are, and then you can learn to eat intuitively, exercise and find the balance you are seeking.
“The Skinny on Fat” 09-25 Chris Lewis, Master Herbalist, is full of powerful knowledge that we should all learn and use. He knows what herbs, spices, natural formulas and herbal remedies heal or prevent illness and disease. He is a treasure trove of safe, healthful information regarding obesity and the ailments commonly associated with it, as well as just about any other physical condition. Chris said that it’s natural for the body to heal itself constantly.
Brain Teasers
Continued from previous post --
My journals revealed my struggles. My day-to-day reflected how happy I was with my weight loss, my new confidence and my mobile lifestyle. Eventually a day came and I could no longer remain strong. No matter how happy I was those brain teasers took over and I succumbed to them. I lost my will. I began struggling not to overeat and eat the wrong things. The first couple months I’d have a few good weeks and then a bad one. I white knuckled it for as long as possible while seeking help from anywhere and everywhere.
I lost 170 pounds eating healthy and exercising, following a sensible weight loss program. I did affirmations and visualizations en masse. I journaled daily and wrote about my issues and feelings in an effort to deal with things head on. I joined a weight loss program support group and went every Thursday, impressing everyone, this “incredible shrinking woman.” I set forward a major reward -- when I reached goal weight, my family and friends had agreed to accompany me on a luxury vacation to Bora Bora, an island of my dreams. A group of 20 had signed up to celebrate my victory.
I posed a challenge to myself … fill in the blank:
The first notable thing I did with my life was _________________.
Wow! What does that mean? The words, “notable” and “life” implies that whatever it means it should have some sort of changing impact on my life in some important way. So what did I ever do that made a difference in my own life? I can think of lots of things others have done that strike a chord … going back early … I can think of ways my mom and dad, my older sister, my younger sister, grandparents, little brothers, even my first dog, Sissy…had an impact, but me?
